Would you rather?

Today in Mrs Lunn's Writing session, we had to do some persuasive writing. We were given a sheet with some ideas on it. Mrs Lunn's example was:

Would you rather run across an alligators back OR run under an angry elephant.

We helped Mrs Lunn come up with some ideas before she decided which one she would choose.

Here are some of our persuasive writing:

I would rather eat a small can of cat food than 7 whole yuck lemons. If you eat 7 whole lemons you’ll get sick and if you only eat a bit of cat food you don't vomit. Firstly, 7 whole lemons are sickening but cat food can not be too toxic that can not make you sick. Secondly, Cat food Is just meat and gravy so its better than 7 whole lemons! Finally, Lemons are badly sour so eat cat food! In conclusion, that's why I think eating cat food is better than eating 7 whole lemons.: By Ivy

I think becoming invisible is better than reading minds. Firstly I can go wherever I want. Secondly I can win every game of hide and seek or lazer tag. Lastly I could sneak up on people. So that’s why I would rather be invisible. By Ethan

I would rather go without tv for the rest of my life than go without junk food for the rest of my life.

Firstly, I have an Ipad that I could easily watch stuff on. Secondly, I also have a lot of book’s at home.

Finally, Tv’s waste more power than other device’s. In conclusion, I'd rather go without tv for the rest of my life. By Jack DF
