Te Whiringawha

We have been revising the four different whiringa that you would find on a marae. This is kind of like four different personality types. They are:

Ariki - Leader

Tohunga - Expert

Mangotoa - Protect and defend

Aronui - Administrator and carer

Over the last couple of days, we have been learning about Te Whiringwha. Mrs Whitta issued us with a challenge to make a slideshow with images of cartoon characters that would fit into each of the whiringa.

For example: The Hulk is a Mangotoa because he protects others
