We wrote some of the best stories of the year today!
We had to pretend we were ...
We had a REALLY good look at the photo and then together, we came up with this planning sheet.
Mrs Lunn had a go at writing a story. We read it and told her what we liked about it. That's all the gold highlighter. She's left a full stop off at the end so we got her to put one in. That's the green highligher!
Then it was our turn:
Stuck in the Desert
My feet were burning in the soft hot sand and I didn't even have any water to survive. If only I knew where I was. My skin felt hotter by the second and sweat was poring down my face like rain. If only it was.

Stuck in the Desert
The hot sand burns the sole of my feet, as I lose my tight grip and plummet into the sweltering sand. I reached into my brown ripped burnt bag and pulled out my canteen. There were only a few drops left. My moth was still poached as the drips disappeared onto my raspy tongue.I need water and fast tumble weed rolled by the quiet desert. I can’t stay here. But deep down I face the horrendous truth… I’m stuck in the desert
