Assessing our Writing

The kids in Mrs Lunn's literacy group have been looking at the Writing Exemplars. These a pieces of writing that the Ministry of Education say are what is expected at each level. They have been looking at what makes each piece of writing great and where the author could improve. Today the children worked with a buddy to assess their own writing. They had to decide where they think their writing would fit.
