Amon's Writing Lesson

Amon was our Writing teacher today. A wee while ago Amon made a slideshow for Writing and today was the day that he got his peers to do it!

Mrs Lunn supported Amon to teach the lesson. He set the scene very well and helped the children brainstorm their ideas for what might be happening. Mrs Lunn was the typist.

Then we read the story that Amon had written for us as a model. We went through it and highlighted yellow, the bits we liked and the green bit was something Amon could have done better.

Heres a few of our stories.

BANG I heard something in the sky. I saw two huge lighting and firing breathing dragons. The sky was turning red. One looks to be a red red black volcanic dragon and another looks like a sea beast from the ocean. It seems that sea monster can gather lightning from the storm and shoot out. My village was nearly destroyed but we held on. By Ben

I look high above me. I see the dragons clash. The fortress of doom dragon fires a ruby red fireball at the rider of the storm dragon. They swoop through the stormy sky. The blue dragon has yellow feathers trailing down its spine. The blue dragon fires a lightning ball covered with blue feathers and it turns into a baby storm dragon. The red dragon howls like a wolf. They fight for the kingdom. By Riley M
